My art is a deep reflection on the duality of life and death, the relentless impermanence, and the inevitable change that surrounds us all. In it, I process decay as an inescapable part of existence, both in rural and urban environments. In the countryside, this decay manifests itself in the natural cycle of life, where the old dies to make way for the new. In the city, however, it is an accelerated, more intense process, where destruction and renewal constantly intertwine.
My art confronts the viewer with deadly disasters, physical and emotional pain, heartbreak, and the many facets of the life process. I make suffering visible in order to understand and appreciate life in all its harshness and beauty. Every brushstroke, every form, and color is an expression of this unstoppable process of transformation that I carry within me, which defines my artistic dignity. I elevate decay and pain to philosophical themes that must be understood not just as endpoints but as essential parts of the life process. My art is therefore not only a representation but a deeper exploration of existence, seeking the eternal in the transient and recognizing the human in destruction. By engaging with these themes, I gain dignity, for I accept the inevitable, recognize beauty in pain, and make the process of life itself into art.
